STUCK MOJO/FOZZY Drummer Jams With XENTRIX: Clips Available
February 23, 2006STUCK MOJO/FOZZY drummer Eric Saunders recently came up to Berlin studios in Blackpool, England to jam with one of his favorite old-school thrash metal bands — reactivated late '80s/early '90s U.K. act XENTRIX.
Commented XENTRIX guitarist Kristian "Stan" Havard: "I met Eric through Luke from PANIC CELL, and he told me that when he was 16 he was really into thrash metal and XENTRIX were one of his favorite bands."
Eric was spending time in the U.K. laying down drum tracks on the new STUCK MOJO album with producer Andy Sneap at Sneap's Backstage studios in Derbyshire. Eric played "Balance of Power" with XENTRIX and then proceeded to give a them display of his diverse rhythmical styles.
XENTRIX drummer Dennis Gasser said: "Wow! Eric is an amazing drummer. He just blew us all away."
Bassist Paul "Macka" MacKenzie was equally impressed: "Has he got an extra arm and a leg hidden away?"
